How micro-plastics are making their way into our atmosphere and what does this mean for us?

Watch this video to learn how micro-plastics are making their way into our atmosphere and raining back down on the earth. We know that the consumption of microplastic and presence of  Plastic in air are negatively affecting the health of plants and animals but what does this mean for us. Thank you Seeker for providing us with this complex information in such a digestible form (unlike micro-plastics.) In order for us to solve this serious issue we must first begin to understand the complexity and extent of the problem. So we now know that we must not only sequester carbon from our atmosphere but we must also remove the airborne micro-plastics and learn how to reduce the the constant flow of micro-plastics making their way into our atmosphere, the air that we breathe, the water that we drink and the food we eat. We’re gradually conscious of how plastic is polluting our atmosphere, and be the reason of a number of health and climatic hazards. Significant scientific attention has been now focused on how these notorious microplastics – tiny pieces ranging from 5 millimetres down to 100 nanometres in diameter – are migrated to seas and functioning their way into the aquatic creatures, to further food chain and food webs. Plants also badly affected due to disturbance in their nutrient absorption. Microfibers another source of plastic emerges from textiles like nylon and polyester. They often wash off clothes and enter the ecosystem through washing machine wastewater. Humans consume microplastics via many channels. We might ingest them while eating seafood, breathe them in through the air, or consume food with trace amounts of its plastic packaging.
