  The UNDP and We Don’t Have Time campaigns  on the urgent need to  end fossil fuel subsidies  are getting traction. The topic was discussed at the UN COP26 official meeting, and t he phrase ”We Don’t Have Time” and the need for ”exponential climate action” was mentioned several times, by high-level climate champion Nigel Topping and others.   Other highlights of the day: 23 countries  made national climate education pledges including net-zero schools and putting climate at the heart of national curriculums.   The first big youth demonstration  since the start of COP26 took place today, gathering 40 000 people on the streets in Glasgow. Greta Thunberg called COP26 "the most exclusionary COP ever".   Meanwhile in the COP26 plenary   –  where all big decisions are made – the youth were absent.
