How micro-plastics are making their way into our atmosphere and what does this mean for us?
Thank you Seeker for providing us with this complex information in such a digestible form (unlike micro-plastics.) In order for us to solve this serious issue we must first begin to understand the complexity and extent of the problem. So we now know that we must not only sequester carbon from our atmosphere but we must also remove the airborne micro-plastics and learn how to reduce the the constant flow of micro-plastics making their way into our atmosphere, the air that we breathe, the water that we drink and the food we eat.
Obviously the best thing we can do as individuals to contribute to the solution(s) of this enormous, seemingly insurmountable problem is to reduce our use of plastics particularly that of single-use plastics, opting for sustainable alternatives and putting pressure on the businesses and companies that provide single-use plastics to adopt natural, sustainable, non polluting alternatives.
